Official summary
Some 2019 Transit Connect vehicles built on 28-May-2018 and through 08-Jul-2019 may exhibit an intermittent low fuel message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) when the fuel level is higher than 1/8 of a tank. This may be due to an IPC software issue. To resolve the condition, update the IPC using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 10849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
