PITSTOP: DEALER INTERNET FIREWALL SETTINGS CAUSING VIN WRITING ISSUE IN STINGER (CK) - This Pitstop provides information regarding a concern identified while performing ECU replacement on certain 2018MY Stinger (CK) 2.0T vehicles, as outlined in publication SA352. Access to control modules and subsequent VIN writing in Stinger (CK) is required. If the KDS tablet is unable to verify and authenticate while connected online, it can cause a VIN writing or communication issue to ECU.
