A loss of audio functions may occur and/or the vehicle startup battery may be discharged and/or a loss of sound from the audio system and parking aid system may be evident. Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) vehicles may display a warning message indicating the AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alert System) is not available.
