Official summary

Technical Bulletin (Front Suspension, Knocking Noise): A Knocking noise from vehicle front. Typically occurs only one time after each direction change (forward or backward, left or right). The sub frame shifts slightly relative to the body due to wax residue in-between components. Maximum acceleration and braking in vehicles that are driven hard are contributors to the occurrence. This document discusses the "Fault Codes" necessary to diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue. The fault codes for checking warranty coverage for servicing the vehicle are also available.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
