Official summary

Subaru of America, Inc. has determined that certain 2005 & 2006 Baja models may have been produced with a fuel pump plastic outlet pipe that may develop cracks and potentially cause a fuel leak. There is a potential safety risk associated with this condition. If cracks at the outlet pipe were to develop, a fuel leak could occur and pose a risk of a fire. This recall will involve replacement of the fuel pump assembly housing.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
