The corrosion protection on the outside of the trunk (back of rear right-hand wheel arch) around the battery positive connector is insufficient, and leads to corrosion on the body. AFFECTED VEHICLES This Service Action involves F30 vehicles which were produced from 9/2011 to 10/2012. In order to determine whether a specific vehicle has had this Service Action completed or is affected by this Service Action, first check the B-pillar label for code number 645.
