Official summary
Some 2019 Transit Connect vehicles built on or after 28-May-2018 may experience a lack of power steering assist or a power steering fault in the message center at start up which may occur after a discharged battery. Do not replace the steering rack and pinion or power steering control module (PSCM). An FDRS PSCM programmable module installation (PMI) tool update is now available, if the tool was previously downloaded, refresh PSCM PMI tool before proceeding.
