Official summary
Some 2019 Transit Connect vehicles built on or after 28-May-2018 may experience a lack of power steering assist or a power steering fault in the message center at start up after a discharged battery. Do not replace the steering rack and pinion or power steering control module (PSCM). A FDRS PSCM programmable module installation (PMI) tool update will be available shortly. Monitor OASIS for updates.
