Official summary
Some 2019 Fusion Energi vehicles built on or before 2-Oct-2018 may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC U301D in the battery energy control module (BECM) after a charging event. To correct this condition, reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) and the BECM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford Diagnostic scan tool. The BECM is programmed as part of the coordinated reprogram. Use Causal Part Number RECALEM, Condition Code 04 and M-Time to claim the repair under warranty.
