Official summary
FC 80402E Stored After Replacement of Rear Electronics Module. After replacement of the Rear Electronics Module (REM), fault code "0x80482E - Incorrect HW variant" is stored and cannot be cleared. This fault has no effect on the vehicle functions and is not noticed by the customer. CAUSE The replacement REM is always supplied as a "High variant." The fault is stored because the F33 does not have a rear window anti-trap circuit.
