Official summary
One or Both Trunk Lid Tail Lamps Malfunction. One of the tail lamps is out in the trunk lid light cluster. This is accompanied by one of the following CCM (Check Control Messages): z Tail lamp in tailgate malfunction z Rear fog light malfunction z Reversing light malfunction z ISTA shows one or more fault(s) present: 80486A - Short-circuit in left-hand reversing light 80486B - Short-circuit in right-hand reversing light 80487F - Rear fog light, left, faulty 804880 - Rear fog light, right, faulty CAUSE The socket housing in the rear lamp mounted on the trunk lid is defective.
