Service Action: Repair Corrosion Protection Engine Compartment. Various engine compartment battery cable mounting points are not sufficiently protected against corrosion. Lack of corrosion protection can lead to improper connections associated with the battery cables. AFFECTED VEHICLES This Service Action involves F30 3 Series vehicles produced from June 2012 to January 2013. First check if a Service Action label with a code number 670 is already attached to the B-pillar.
