NOISES WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL This Service Information bulletin supersedes SI 32 03 15 dated January 2016.. There are squeaking or groaning noises from the steering spindle when the steering wheel is turned. The steering spindle sleeve's plastic bearing is insufficiently lubricated or not lubricated at all.
