G12 (7 Series) G30 (5 Series Sedan) Vehicles produced up to 3/1/2017. The instrument cluster (KOMBI) display does not appear when the vehicle is started. Software in the instrument cluster incorrectly initiates the safety mode causing the cluster display to remain dark.
