Official summary

This is a Technical Service Bulletin sent to dealers. It instructs dealers to reprogram the engine ECU with updated software to correct the issue, on certain vehicles, of MIL illumination with DTC P061A. During turbocharged driving, DTC P061A (Torque Monitoring) may set when the current monitor does not recognize turbocharged operation. When DTC P061A is detected, the vehicle goes into fail-safe mode and vehicle speed is restricted to a maximum of 25 mph (40 km/h).
