Left Rear Door Replacement Due to A Split Or Strain In The Sheet Metal This bulletin involves inspecting the left rear door for a split or strain in the metal adjacent to the latch. If the metal is split or strained then the door assembly must be replaced. The customer may notice the metal adjacent to the latch is split or not smooth to the touch. This indicates the metal near the left rear door latch area is strained or split (Fig. 1).
