Official summary
For 2018 EcoSport vehicles without tailgate mounted spare tire, the four M4 (4.8x20mm) screws provided inside the loose items plastic bag are not suitable to attach the license plate to the tailgate. The license plate attachment to tailgate will require two M6 (6.3x16mm) screws which are not shipped with the vehicles. For these vehicles, use M6 screws, part number N807572-S439 (two required). Note: This license plate hardware is also common with other Ford products - Fiesta, Focus, Taurus, Escape, Edge, Flex.
