Official summary
As noted in FSA 17S34, loss of instrument cluster display can result from wiring corrosion and damage to the Trailer Relay Module on affected Transit vehicles. Complete the 17S34 service action as described prior to addressing any other customer reported symptoms. Vehicles that exhibit related wire harness damage must have the wire harness repaired or replaced prior to performing any additional diagnostic testing to avoid improperly condemning instrument clusters or other electronic modules.
