Official summary
Some 2014-2018 Taurus vehicles may exhibit the gearshift selector lever bezel door binding, skewed and/or not latching. This may be due to the door post becoming detached from the trim panel door pivot linkage. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
