Official summary
Customer Request Rear Window Vent Switch Disconnected This Bulletin involves disconnecting the switch for the rear power vent window, if requested by the customer. A customer may inquire about Safety Recall P25 and request to have their Power Quarter Vented Window Switch disconnected or a customer may have noticed a burning odor or have seen smoke coming from the power vented window switch on the drivers door. Once the proper amount of parts are available, all of the customer will be notified. In the meantime, the switch can be disconnected, to satisfy the customer.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
