2017-2018 QX30; DEACTIVATION AND ACTIVATION OF INTELLIGENT KEYS SERVICE INFORMATION Intelligent Keys, for the Applied Vehicles, have a feature that allows them to be deactivated to save battery power when Intelligent Key is not being used for extended periods of time. While the Intelligent Keys are deactivated, the following vehicle features will also be inactive: - Door Lock/Unlock cannot be operated by touching the request switch on the outside door handle. - Vehicle will display ?key not detected? message. - Engine will not start unless the Intelligent Key is inserted in the ignition lock.
