Official summary
Some 2015-2017 Transit vehicles equipped with a 3.5L or 3.7l gasoline engine may exhibit an engine overheat condition or poor A/C cooling due to one or more of the 3 cooling fan fuses being open. If any one of the Battery Junction Box (BJB) fuses F30, F31, or F8 are open, replace F8 from a 20 amp to a 30 amp fuse (6E5Z-14526-BA), and service the F30 and F31 40 amp fuses (6E5Z-14526-CA) as needed. The wiring diagram has been updated. Failure to replace an open F8 with a 30amp fuse will cause F30 and F31 to open over time. Claim using causal part 9K499 if no other root cause is identified.
