2016-2017 TITAN AND TITAN XD; NOISE FROM REAR PARKING BRAKES IF YOU CONFIRM The rear parking brake shoes are dragging against the drum surface of the brake rotor and causing noise. ACTION Replace the rear parking brake shoes and retainer springs on both sides of the vehicle. - If the parking brake shoes have worn through their lining and scored either the left side or right side drum surface of the brake rotor, or if any other related damage is present, replace the brake rotor on the affected side and replace the disk brake pads.
