Official summary

DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE A potential issue has been identified on a limited number of Land Rover vehicles listed in the Affected Vehicle where the Gateway Module (GWM) stays awake and keeps the Controller Area Network (CAN) awake. This constant current drain of 3 amps causes the battery to go flat within a few days.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
