Official summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about the folding top and/or trunk operation, the technician may find that the Tech2 value for the Rear Tonneau Status is blank. This blank value is caused by a Tech2 software malfunction and has nothing to do with the function or operation of the vehicle. Technician should always reference published diagnostics and the latest revision of technical service bulletin 03-08-67-008 when diagnosing any trunk or folding top concerns.
