This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp is illuminated and the vehicle has a harsh 1-2 shift. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0741 set in the Transmission Control Module. Technician will need to replace the torque converter clutch solenoid and wire harness with part number 24237980.
