Some 2017 Fusion and MKZ vehicles equipped with a 2.0L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) engine built on or before 31-Aug-2016 may exhibit a lack of power drivability concern with an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and DTC P0234 stored in powertrain control module (PCM) memory. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
