Official summary
Some 2017 MKZ vehicles may exhibit a check headlamp message displayed in IPC after a remote start event and may also exhibit Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC): U0401, U0253, and/or U0155 in the Headlamp Control Module (HCM). Reprogram the HCM to the latest calibration using the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) release 104.05 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com.
