"issue: the pscm (power steering control module) at12my l538 from vin ch600000 to vin ch631089, has in some cases been reported to experience a break in communication with the vehicle post a software update. Incorrectly, dealers have been changing the steering gear to fix the issue. Cause if an attempt to download the (slow-ratio) software onto a 12my l538, ivs (in vehicle software) will give them a different (fast-ratio) version of the software.
