"techline summary article - editor s note: this article replaces the one posted in august 2015 to extend that article s shelf life. The issues covered are still being addressed. Does the front seat-back creak or squeak when you move around in the seat or get in or out of the vehicle? What s likely causing it is the seat-back fabric rubbing against the foam pad underneath. This noise only happens when the seat gets hot (the seat temperature is over 104° f).
