Official summary

Some customers may experience inoperative front door window auto-closing operation when using the window switches (a). The window moves upward, but automatically returns to the halfway position (as if the jam-safe window function is operating). The glass run channel may be deformed causing increased sliding resistance against the window glass. This may cause the system to mis-judge that something is blocking the window close movement and operates the jam-safe window function.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
