Official summary
Some vehicles may experience the check engine light on with dtc p0300:00 (random misfire detected) stored in memory. The vehicle can run normal without any driveabilty or nvh concern.this is caused by improper programming of the pcm. To correct the problem, the pcm will be reprogrammed.
