Official summary
This preliminary information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have a "service front camera" message on the driver information center intermittently. When the technician uses the scan tool to check for diagnostic trouble codes a history u023a and/or u026a may be set in the instrument panel cluster and/or body control module. It is important that the technician does not replace the front view camera module for this concern. Technician will reprogram the front view camera module with the latest software using service programming system.
