Official summary
2016-2017 focus vehicles with 2.0l gasoline direct injection(gdi) engines built on or after 04/07/2016 will no longer have a high pressure fuel pump cover. Please do not submit for a miss-built unit, and/or add the cover back on the engine. Service management team please share with the sales team the deletion of the cover was intentional.
