Official summary
Some 2017 escape vehicles with electronic manual temperature control (emtc) and ford original accessory or fia scalable remote start systems may exhibit a concern of the last user setting of the heating ventilation and air conditioning (hvac) system is not maintained when the vehicle is started with the remote start system. Airflow may be defaulted to the defrost ducts when this occurs. Reprogram the heating ventilation and air conditioning (hvac) module to the latest calibration using the integrated diagnostic system (ids) release 104.02 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet
