Official summary
This preliminary information communication provides information to the technician that some vehicles odometer will not advance past 299,999 thousand miles/km. This is a mechanical limitation of the odometer in the instrument cluster. The cluster cannot be reprogrammed to advance the mileage past this display limitation. If customer requests replacement or reprogramming of cluster to "0" km at their expense, please refer to the latest version of pit4720 for proper documentation of change.
