Official summary
2015-2017 f-150 xl vehicles are built with front seat bracket shields and bolt caps on the front and rear of the inboard seat brackets only. The outboard seat brackets do not have shields or bolt caps installed from the factory. Installing new shields and bolt caps on the front or rear of the outboard seat brackets is not a warrantable repair.
