Official summary

Some vehicles may exhibit a knocking noise from the rear of the vehicle when driving over a road bump. This may be caused by the bump stop (bound stopper) for the rear shock absorber coming out of the mounting rub-ber. To eliminate the concern, the bonding agent and the area to be covered have been changed to increase the bonding strength between the bump stop (bound stopper) and mounting rubber.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
