Pitstop: grinding or creaking noise when turning - this article provides information regarding a potential grinding or creaking noise heard from the front of the vehicle when turning the wheel quickly at slow speeds, on some 2011 - 2013my sorento (xma), produced prior to august 28, 2012. This concern may be caused by corrosion of the front strut bearing due to water or debris entry and is more commonly found in regions with higher snowfall and road salt usage.
