Official summary

"dealer message - american honda is investigating 2003-2004 odysseys & certain 2003 accords (vins that start with 1hg or 3hg) with a complaint of front airbag deployment in non-collision situation with dtc 51-xx through 56-xx (internal failure of srs unit) stored. In addition, this could include a complaint of a non-collision airbag deployment causing a collision after the airbag deployed. To evaluate the cause of the non-collision airbag deployment, ahm would like to collect specific parts from the vehicle prior to you attempting a repair of any kind."

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
