Official summary
Dealer message - today, august 3, 2016, american honda motor, co., inc. Is announcing a product update for model year 2015-16 honda accord and cr-v vehicles to address incorrect cvt operation and dtc p1890. An incorrect learning value in the pcm may cause a pressure problem in the cvt under certain driving conditions causing a surge in rpm because the cvt belt slips at highway speeds, and will eventually set dtc p1890 (cvt speed control system).

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
