Volkswagen service campaign: see document search button for owner letter. In some vehicles it is possible that a bushing inside the mechatronic unit has the potential to wear out prematurely, causing the clutches inside the transmission to operate less smoothly than before. The driver will begin to notice changes in the way the vehicle feels as the transmission shifts (jerking). This change can become very pronounced, the vehicle remains safe to drive. *pe
