The defect

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015 Transit Connect vehicles that were previously remedied under NHTSA recall number 25V572. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, intermittent, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.

The fix — what to do

Dealers will replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed in October 2026.
