The defect
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2027 Heartland Bighorn recreational trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 567, "Certification."
The risk
Referencing the incorrect weight could result in the trailer being overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.
