The defect
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026-2027 IC Bus EVSB school buses. The mounting bracket bolts may have been improperly tightened, allowing the drive motor to detach.

A detach drive motor can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Dealers will tighten or replace the drive mounting bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 22, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26507. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning July 20, 2026.
