The defect
Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2025 Velocity, Saber, Impel, Enforcer, and Arrow XT vehicles. The steering linkage arm bolt may come loose, resulting in the steering linkage arm detaching from the steering motor.

Steering linkage arm detachment can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
