NHTSA campaign 25V747000 · Fuel System, Diesel · filed Oct 30, 2025 · verified Jul 30, 2026
The defect
Remote Vans is recalling certain 2025 Aegis and Oasis motorhomes. Optional equipment may cause the motorhome to exceed Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) when carrying the maximum number of occupants. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims” and 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
The risk
An overloaded motorhome increases the risk of a crash.
