The defect
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Mack LRBE trucks. The high voltage batteries may have loose hardware that can fall inside the battery pack and create a short circuit.

Dealers will replace the batteries, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 24, 2025. Owner notification letters will be mailed on or before August 25, 2025, for the additional vehicles added on July 22, 2025. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0475.
