The defect

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses. A software error may cause the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) to crash, disconnecting the high voltage batteries and causing a loss of drive power.

The fix — what to do

Nova Bus will validate and update the VCU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 2, 2024. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5643.
