The defect

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2025 Mack AN, GR, and TE trucks. The drag link may contain an improperly heat-treated ball stud that can fail, resulting in a sudden loss of steering control.

The fix — what to do

Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will inspect and replace the drag links, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 20, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0465.
